Thank you! I have no experience with Rust, but as far as I know, it is a great language for system programming. It is very fast and reliable and is intended to replace C++. Maybe someone with more experience could correct me if I’m wrong. AFAIK it is not a functional-first language.

I would strongly recommend looking into Elixir or ELM as they both are functional and beginner-friendly languages.
